General duties to include turnover maintenance, completion of work orders daily, trouble shoot appliances/mechanical/plumbing/electrical concerns, picking up grounds to maintain curb appeal and common areas, club house, laundry rooms and trash/recycling center. Preference to be given to candidate with prior supervisory experience. Maintenance does participate in after-hour emergency calls.

Candidate must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation as a condition of employment.

Maintenance Tech / Painter

Summit Real Estate Management is seeking a full-time Maintenance Tech/Painter to join our existing 5-Star team at our beautiful building in the heart of the exciting Pearl District. Qualified candidate will handle day to day building maintenance, complete turnover maintenance, and maintain building systems.

QUALIFICATIONS FOR THIS POSITION:

* Must have previous experience working with low/mid rise building systems
* Must have maintenance experience at an apartment or hotel
* Must have excellent customer service and guest relations contact skills
* Must have strong leadership skill
* Must have professional demeanor
* Must be willing to participate in rotational "on call" schedule
* Must work with Management team to ensure resident satisfaction
* Must be self-motivated and take pride in job

Gresham: 90 unit apartment community consisting of 1, 2 and 3 bedroom apartments.

NE Portland: 100+ access controlled low rise apartment building consisting of 1 and 2 bedroom apartments.

SW Portland: Work between three smaller communities near OHSU and SW Hall.

Resident Manager

Summit has opening for Resident Manager at a 120 unit conventional apartment community.

Manager to handle day to day operations, all office paperwork including payables, rent collection, leasing, resident relations, routine inspections, scheduling turnovers and daily work orders, and routine communications with District Property Manager.

Position requires both verbal and written communication skills, working knowledge of WORD and EXCEL, knowledge of Tenant Landlord laws, Fair Housing guidelines, and professional appearance. Yardi and Tenant Tech experience a plus. Preference given to existing Manager or an Assistant Manager of a larger community with 3 years of experience with maintenance experience.

Compensation to include competitive hourly rate, commission/bonus potential, and excellent benefit package including paid holidays, vacation, health and dental insurance, and more.
